POSITION: Remittance Officer

Location: Head Office

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor Degree or equivalent
• MBA/ Master’s Degree or a relevant professional qualification will be an advantage
• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in Banking, Microfinance or Payments systems
• Product penetration
• Implementation of business and development plan
• Growth of remittance revenue

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Business Development

• Develop and execute product plans to support remittance and other digital products
• Identify and implement innovative revenue generating services
• Drive remittance products promotion and rewards to encourage increased adoption and usage
• Build and maintain strategic partnerships with key stakeholders
• Establish relationship with branch business team to achieve the set branch remittance targets
• Recruitment of sub-agents for remittance products to increase cash pick up points.

Performance Monitoring & Analytics

• Monitor changes and trends in remittance to ensure competitiveness in the market and alignment with customer preferences.
• Conduct monthly analysis to ensure product and pricing are in alignment with the industry’s position.
• Closely monitor customer complaints and improve the process to provide simple, functional, and reliable products.

Communication & Training

• train and guide staff involved in remittance as per the banks training framework.
• Produce and publish detailed product information guides, including features and functions, positioning, and pricing.
• Conduct training for all recruited subagents.
