50 Loan Officers Opportunities at ASA Microfinance Limited 2023
The largest microfinance organisation in the world, ASA International (www.asa-international.com), has a subsidiary called ASA Microfinance (Tanzania) Limited that was established under Tanzania’s Companies Act 2002 (No. 93819). We are extending an invitation to qualified Tanzanian nationals to join our team in the following positions. For the following positions, which are open for an immediate appointment, ASA Tanzania, an equal opportunity employer, is looking for young men and women who are passionate about the socioeconomic development of people.
Position: Loan Officers (LOs) – 50 Posts
Job Responsibilities:
- to build and maintain a substantial and high-quality loan portfolio.
- to conduct member recruitment and screening.
- to orient clients to particular loan products and services.
- To make groups on all working days in a week, the minimum number of total clients will be 350.
- Make regular contact with the groups and clients in the field.
- To process loan applications and verify clients’ income-generating activities (IGA) and other relevant information.
- Collect instalments from the clients in groups on a regular basis and on time.
- to manage loan disbursements and monitor and collect loan repayments.
- Verify the client’s guarantor’s house and other necessary documents.
- to provide quality and good customer service to clients.
- to accomplish all the documentation for the day as required.
Academic Qualifications and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree/Advanced Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree/Master’s Degree
- Experience is not required but will be an added advantage.
- willing to work at the field level.
- Willing to relocate.
- ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
- sensitive to operational risks, self-initiative, and decisive with a high standard of integrity.
- ability to work efficiently in a team environment and to demonstrate good negotiation skills.
- good oral and written communication skills.
